  1. Data-Thon-2019, Thursday, January 17 at 12 pm to Friday, January 18 at 3 pm at the Bloomfield Science Museum:

Building off the success of the Data-Thon 2018, with over 850 participants, Data-Thon 2019 will invite innovators of all kinds to compete to create solutions for the schools of the future, addressing the following challenges: shared learning experiences, personalized learning, training for the jobs of the future, and emotional development.

2. BioStart #3 Job Panel, Monday, January 14, 7 pm at Hillel Street 6:

Biotech is a growing field, with the potential to completely revolutionize medicine and agriculture. If you have a life sciences background and are interested in pursuing a job in biotech, this panel is for you. Come hear the experiences of scientists who work in biotech; there will also be time to ask questions and to mingle -the first beer is on the house.

Listen and learn

3. Side Project Night, Tuesday, January 15, 5 pm at WeWork:

Can’t find the time to work on that extra project? Long to share ideas with other peers, or to consult people with different skill sets than your own? Look no further than MadeinJLM’s Side Project Night, where people from different companies and non-profits gather to bounce ideas of each other, socialize, and get work done on the projects they don’t have time for during those 9–5 business hours.

Cheers to working together at Side Project Tuesdays
